In Bloom: The Story Behind Our Spring Collection
Let me be honest with y'all.
I created this collection between conference calls, school pickups, bath time, and late nights in my kitchen. There was no "perfect moment." There never is. I just decided it was time and I made it happen.
That's how everything in my life has worked. Nobody gave me a runway. I built one.
The system came for my husband. I came for him harder. Seven years later, he's home and I'm still standing.
And during all of that, self-care became our resistance. Both of ours. Every visit, every court date, Keith showed up cleanly shaven, waves right, smelling good. And I did the same. Every curl in place. Skin soft. Smelling like something worth remembering. Because in those brief moments when I could hug him, that was all we had. And he told me he'd smell me long after I left.
That's when I understood what self-care really was. It was luxury AND necessity. It was dignity. It was armor. It was saying "you can take a lot from us but you can't take THIS." The way we showed up for each other, that was love. That was resistance. That was the beginning of everything I'm building now.
When Keith came home, we started healing. We started rebuilding. And Seventh Reign Lux was born in that season. Not during the fight, but after it. In the adjustment. In the exhale. In the "okay, we made it… now what do we build?"
THIS COLLECTION IS THE ANSWER.
Spring is an awakening. The earth thaws. The flowers push through. Everything that was dormant starts reaching for the sun again. That's what this season feels like for me. And I wanted to bottle that feeling for you.
